AOT is included in the FTSE4Good Index

           Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) is included in the FTSE4Good Index which is designed to identify companies that demonstrate strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices.

           Dr.Nitinai Sirismatthakarn, President of AOT, said, FTSE Russell is a stock market index and associated data provider, a part of London Stock Exchange Group. FTSE Russell has developed the FTSE4Good Index, which is one of the global leading indices, as an important tool for investors who are committed to social responsibility and sustainability (Socially Responsible Investment: SRI) to enable them to make better informed investment decision
since 2001. On June 2017, AOT was granted by FTSE Russell to join the FTSE4Good Index, resulting from its managerial practice and disclosure of information, including its ESG.

           In this regard, becoming a member of the FTSE4Good Index reflects that AOT is committed to operating its airport business with sustainability, that its business management is based on the balance of economic, social and environmental practices, and that the company is always aware of the benefits of the nation and the people. Operating the airport business is an important mechanism in driving the country’s economic and social growth. As for the environmental practice, AOT aims to make its airports environmentally-friendly airports to harmonize with the community close to them.

            Dr. Nitinai added, in addition to the AOT’s inclusion in FTSE4Good Index, the company was also selected to become a member of Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for two consecutive years (2015-2016) and a member of Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI)
from 2015 up until now. The afore-mentioned inclusions can make stakeholders full of confidence that AOT operates its business in a socially and environmentally responsible
manner, together with the generation of good turnover, the addition of value to the society
and the sustainable growth of its business in the future.
