Minister of Transport paid a visit to Suvarnabhumi Airport

On 29th October 2020, Mr.Saksayam Chidchob, Minister of Transport, Mr.Chayatan Phromsorn, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transport, led his team for a site visit to Suvarnabhumi Airport, supervised by Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), together with delivering policy for AOT. The visiting team were welcomed by Dr.Nitinai Sirismatthakarn, President of AOT, Wing Commander Suthirawat Suwannawat, General Manager of Suvarnabhumi Airport and Mr.Kerati Kijmanawat, Senior Executive Vice President (Engineering and Construction) and listened to the overall presentation on Suvarnabhumi Airport and the progress of Suvarnabhumi Airport Development Project Phase II including the new Midfield Satellite 1  (SAT-1),the Construction of the 3rd Runway, the North Expansion, the Main Terminal Building Renovation and the Runway Maintenance. Furthermore, the Minister of Transport and his team visited the Molecular Laboratory Center Port Health (Covid-19 Testing Lab) in Suvarnabhumi Airport to inspect its readiness for serving passengers once the government approves on oversea travel. Later on, they also visited the new Midfield Satellite 1 (SAT-1) .
