AOT Received an Award for Organization with Outstanding Public Toilet Development

On 16 November 2020, at Icon Siam Department Store, Mr.Jakrapop  Charatsri (left), Vice President of Environmental Department, a representative of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), was granted the award for Organization with Outstanding Public Toilet Development from Dr.Satit Pitutacha (right), Deputy Minister of Public Health. The award was given in a ceremony of the World Toilet Day 2020, under the topic of “The New Normal Public Toilet for All” which was held by Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health.

The World Toilet Day is designed to raise awareness on the importance of toilets and public toilet standards, an access to clean, sufficient and safe public toilets as well as having sanitary behaviour.

AOT, as an airport operator of Thailand’s 6 main international airports with a number of airport users, is eager to enhance the quality of public toilets at all of our airports to meet Hospital Accreditation Standards (HAS) and international standard while providing airport users with clean, sufficient and safe public toilets.
