Liquid hand sanitizer can carry on board or in the restricted area of the airport
Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) has performed according to the announcement of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) on principle and condition to carry liquid, aerosols and gels (LAGs) on board or in the restricted area of the airport under the precaution measures of the COVID-19 pandemic. As from 27 March 2020, passengers travelling at AOT’s 6 international airports, namely Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai and Mae Fah Luang-Chiang Rai, are allowed to carry the liquid hand sanitizer on board or in the restricted area of the airport with quantity limit of gel increasing from 100 ml. to 350 ml. (12 ounces) per container on the condition that the container is tightly closed and clearly shows its containing volume. This also includes toothpaste, perfume, skin lotion etc. In addition, the combined quantity of liquid containers must not exceed 1,000 ml. Each of which should be placed separately on a tray before being screened through the X-ray machine. However, the relaxation of this restriction will be effective until the COVID-19 pandemic is ended.
