AOT Cooperates with AEROTHAI to Strengthen Thailand’s Aviation Security
On 31st March 2021, Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) and Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd. (AEROTHAI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a great collaboration to strengthen air service and security between AOT and AEROTHAI which was held at Meeting Room 1, AOT Head Office. The keynote speech of the ceremony was given by Flight Lieutenant Thummavudth Nonsee, Senior Executive Vice President (Airport and Aviation Standards) with General Managers of 6 AOT airports as AOT representatives, namely
Wing Commander Suthirawat Suwannawat, General Manager of Suvarnabhumi Airport,
Flying Officer Sumpun Kutranon, General Manager of Don Mueang International Airport, Mr.Amornrux Choomsai Na Ayuthaya, General Manager of Chiang Mai International Airport, Mr.Akaraphan Thongsaluay, General Manager of Mae Fah Luang - Chiang Rai International Airport, Pilot Officer Thanee Chuangchoo, General Manager of Phuket International Airport and Flying Officer Thananrath Prasertsree, General Manager of Hat Yai International Airport, to sign the MOU with Mrs. Sirikes Niemloy, Vice President of Air Traffic Management and Mr. Chumnan Ruechai, Vice President (Provincial and Facilities Administration), representatives from AEROTHAI.
The aim of this MOU is to enhance safety of Thailand’s air transportation as well as strengthening collaboration between AOT and AEROTHAI. By working together, both sides not only uplift and develop management efficiency in both airside and landside but also build confidence of airport users in the whole aviation industry and related business under AOT’s supervision.
