AOT launching “AOT volunteers saving Coastal Wetland Project 2020”




Mr.Anan Wangchingchai Deputy General Manager of Suvarnabhumi Airport (Maintenance) the Airports of Thailand Plc. (AOT), Mr.Chaipoj Jaroonpong, Vice Governor of Samut Prakan Province, Mr.Visit Balee, Don Mueang Deputy General Manager of Business Support Group, and Col.Thunpisit Phonok General Manager of Bang Pu Recreation Center jointly presided over
“AOT Volunteers Saving Coastal Wetland Project 2020” on 18 September 2020 at Bangpu Nature Education center (BNEC), Samut Prakarn Province. In this regard, there were
150 volunteers in the project which consisted of AOT executives, Samut Prakan Government officers, and AOT staff from Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang International Airport.
They got together to plant sonneratia caseolaris and rhizophora mucronata lam or red mangrove totaling 9,999 trees to restore Thailand’s mangrove forest. This project aims to maintain ecological and biodiversity balances and to protect marine life and it is also part
of key steps in tackling global warming crisis.
